I just completed reading your book and woman of God this is my story about the abuse my God I felt like I was reading my own story it tore me up all the bandages that I have been applying over the years through this book have shown me that I only bandage the hurts, the pains , the low self esteem, the anger , the rejection issues , the abandonment issues , the church hurts , the disappointments, and so much more I haven’t dealt with the root to be fully and totally free. This book just gutted me out like a fisherman guts a fish. Thank you thank you thank you for being obedient to the call of writing and publishing your story woman of God. OMG!! When I tell you that this book was nothing less than amazing!! Let me tell you, if you are not free and delivered behind reading this book, then you did not read the book! The transparency is coming from a pure place. Prophetess Shawn's story of abuse can minister to soooooo many people, "women in particular", that it is mind blowing. Don't ever let nobody tell you that God is not a deliverer because he is that and then some. He alone is God!! I found myself in so many areas of her life story, which it was like we were twinning. Oftentimes, as believers, we don't know why, but what we do know is that it had to happen, because the Bible declares that all things, (even a thing like this), works together for the good of those that love the Lord. Through your pain, you were called for this purpose for women. I am so proud of you putting yourself out there to make a difference for others.

What I enjoyed about this book is how the author took us to through generational abuse that started with her mother, herself and was passed down to her son. The author then takes us through a time when she was rebellious towards her mother, until her own children returned the same to her. When she was at a breaking point, God changed her heart after she gave him a complete "yes". I am glad that the author realized how she needed to start ministering to her family. What I learned from reading this powerful story is that God will allow you to go through but when you come out, there will be no residue. No one will ever know what you went through until you testify about what the love of God has done for you. I pray that this book will touch lives around the world in Jesus's name.
